Volvo Penta D2-40 Raw Water Pump, Impeller & Service Kit

Quality, aftermarket impeller and pump service kits for the Johnson type engine driven raw water pump, original equipment on all Volvo Penta D2-40 engines. Our impellers are manufactured from the correct grade of high quality neoprene rubber and are moulded on to a machined brass coupling with a stainless steel drive pin.

We have three kits available:

• Our 'impeller kit' fits all D2-40 engines. It includes the impeller, a tube of glycerine lubricant, an end-plate gasket and full fitting instructions.
• The 'service Kit' includes the 'impeller kit' parts, along with a pump mounting O-ring, a set of end cover stainless screws and a nitrile rubber lip seal (with stainless spring). A pump which leaks water is usually due to failure of this shaft seal.
• The raw water pump 'rebuild Kit' includes the 'service kit' parts, plus an oil seal, end cover and the two internal pump bearings plus cam screw and washer .
